Race City - Last night of the season

It appears that tomorrow (Friday Sept 30th) is the last day for Secret Street at Race City. Hopefully the weather holds up with a forecasted 20% chance of rain.

Who's all coming, and what time do you hope to hit on the 1/4 mile or auto cross track?

I'm hoping to hit 14s in a 4 door family car

Last Friday they said they were going to run up to and including October 7th. So there should be two more Secret Streets unless that has changed since they announced that...

Maybe they had a bad experience with the cold weather last time and figured screw that plan...let's just do one.

Forecast for Friday is slightly overcast and fairly warm, a mere 20% P.O.P. Evening is 14 degrees with the same chance of rain.

I really hope they run it tomorrow night. I went down two weekends ago, but found out (after driving from the far NW all the way down there) that they weren't open... I was busy last weekend... and I've taken tomorrow night off from work. It's so hard to take friday's off, so I haven't had a chance to go even once this year!!!

I wannna, but i don't like the chances of getting the flywheel resurfaced tomorrow and then the clutch installed (easy part). If i do make it i hope to brake into the 13's maybe low 14's depends on what boost i run fingers crossed. Maybe they will keep secret street open till oct 7th, i would like to get out.

Pitwipe: I have no access to the camera for another 3 weeks... it got rented out to an indie producer about 3 hours before I requested it last week

Although, I will definitely have it for winter if there is ever a need to film a Scooby playing in the snow

You might have to bring your camera to a Subaru meet this Winter.. get some sideways scoobies on film! (from the safety of an organised private road meet of course )
