throwing marchment into the equation will give us 7 D instead of 6, and hopefully make us a little more solid not having to rely as heavily on ference and montador.

Like somebody said earlier, this isn't a team yet. The new Flames need to play for a couple of months before they can read each other and play well.

Our team is full of talent but you can't win a game alone. They have to work together and play as a team. As soon as they're successful at this, we'll do well. Kiprusoff will get less shots on net and therefore let in less goals. Hes still a great goalie, but the odds are against him. Some shots are bound to sneak by.

I think we'll make it to the playoffs and do well, we just need to pull together as a team. Its way too early to tell (Flames usually don't do that great early on in the season anyway).

Hell I'd be more concerned if the Flames were amazing right from the get go. Every time we had a great start, we go to crap around January.

Look at last season, it wasn't until November that we got good.

exactly. You can see the talent is there, but there isn't enough cohesion yet, which is what Sutter did last season, he made the team stick insanely well, even though our team was seen as not having as much talent as others.
