Champ Car/Grand Prix/Paul Tracy

Anyone here following Grand Prix? Whats up with Tracy? So cocky all the time, I dont think he's won a race yet this year because he's a goon and sucks at driving. Anyone see what he did in Montreal...never seen anything like it in motorsports.

He was posing like a goon on the truck that takes the drivers around the track. No big deal, I think it's funny and good that he sees the humour in it.

Tagliani is a pip-squeak, I could throw him 10 feet threw the air he's so damn small. Bourdais is bigger, but still, Tracy would own either of them in a fight - which is why they didn't take their helmets off. Tracy would kill 'em.

Hell, he'd probably take 'em both at once.

As for driving I actually like the agressive style when he doesn't crash . (It's a shame for Alex Tagliani though)

Nothing wrong with making things interesting but fighting doesnt belong in Motorsports. If I wanted to watch morons beat the shit out of eachother and race cars Id watch Nascar or that figure 8 BS. Id rather see excitement in the driving rather than some tool in a blue cape. I guess Tracy figures he's not going to go any further than Champ car because there is no way any Lemans or F1 team would ever touch him after this. Im surprised his sponsors arent freaking out. Just another ignorant Ontarioan IMO...but hey listen to me, I sound like Shooter Mgavin lol

They need idiots like Tracy to make things exciting in order to make up for the shitty quality of racing. I would love to see Tracy get knocked the fuck out.

F1 actually. An open wheel car with McDonalds plastered allover is a bastardization.

i used to watch champ car all the time, but i hardly ever do any more. it seemed to drop from an elite, step ladder series to F1 one year to a series in trouble with a bunch of no name drivers the next. champ car needs a smart ass like tracy to stay afloat. hell i'm french canadian and i laughed at his french guys dont take of their helmets thing, and found that captain quebec thing pretty hilarious.

I agree, but Tracy did not start the physical fights after the crashes... it was Tag and Seabass who did the BS.

I follow both Champ Car and F1 for years and still do.... believe me, F1 is no more exciting than Champ Car.

Yeah his driving this year has been pure shit, but at the same time if it wasn't for him no one would talk about this series. I enjoy watching open wheel street racing with the walls all around as much as I like watching F1, and I can't wait for the two series to unite again. Tracy is keeping CART alive in Canada, who's name is currently talked about more Bourdais (defending series champ) or Tracy. He is bringing attention to a sport that has struggled to survive, like him or not he is keeping a sport that I like to watch on TV and for that I thank him.
