    SEATTLE (Reuters) - An Oregon woman whose doctor convinced her that he could cure her lower back pain by having sex with her is suing him and his medical clinic for $4 million, according to legal documents obtained on Monday.

    The doctor, Randall Smith, who was 50 at the time, was stripped of his license and sent to jail for 60 days last year for charging the state's Oregon Health Plan $5,000 for his 45-minute "treatments" involving the woman.

    "Dr. Smith's medical treatment included intercourse in which he told plaintiff was needed to help alleviate plaintiff's lower back and lower extremity pain," the former patient said in the lawsuit.

    The lawsuit, which charges battery, negligence and intentional and negligent infliction of emotional distress, was filed on Friday in Multnomah County court.

    "We never comment on lawsuits," said a spokesman for the Adventist Medical Group clinic in Gresham, Oregon where Smith worked. Smith could not be located for comment.

    Though he pleaded guilty to submitting false health care claims, a felony, Smith maintained the sex with the 47-year-old woman was consensual.

    holy shit beakman wow thats something i just cant quite fathom, whether he tried to pass it off as some treatment, or she was stupid enough to think it would work


    when cut open, the rambutan unfortunately fails miserably to deviate from its outwardly testicular appearance, revealing an inside that looks for all the world exactly how you'd expect the contents of a scrotum to look.

    lol only someone with either no IQ, or some woman that aint getting some for a long time...or she could be very naive. Or she knew exactly what she was doing....get the sex and then sue his butt...lol

    There actually was a study on this and there seems to be a connection between having sex and the alievement of lower back pain, something to do with all the muscles relaxing in that area.

    Well good question do female doctors offer the same treatment....but in the States anything is possible

    I don't think any chick can be THAT stupid to believe sex with the doctor can fix the back pain. I mean, I've met some gullible chicks, none would be gullible enough to fall for that.

    My guess is the doctor dated the chick, she got pissed off, and this is her revenge. I've met chicks crazy enough to pull a stunt off like that.

    yeah. he shouldn't be charged. she's a moron. But since you can get sued for millions for selling coffee without writing on the cup that it's hot, then yeah.
