hockey is back, and its time for me to blow some money. lets hear your guys' pick for hockey if your doing hockey.

I would also like for you to start off your post by typing
for example if you were to do hockey picks.

I won $100 this last weekend betting on NFL.

I had these teams on a combination of three different tickets and won just over $100. As for hockey, I am not too sure... with the new rules and so many players have changed teams, its hard for me to have picks that are going to be overly concrete.

try not to pick the team you like (aka me picking the flames) becuase it sometimes BIASes (spelling?) your pick.

say you like some crappy team like the raptors, and they play the spurs - you will 90% of the time pick raptors even though you KNOW the spurs will win because the raptors are plagued with injuries and suckyness haha.

pikc the team that you know does well against the other - know the injuries if any, know streaks (hot and cold) find out whos playing net and such. who starts? how well they do on the road how well they play at home. but also take into account upsets happen and shit.

sometimes I make 2 tickets, one for serious picks (drop more money on this ticket 10+ for me anyways) and one just for fun (2-5 dollars) the fun ticket I pick a few ties, and upsets. if I win on my fun ticket I win BIG but chances are I won't win.

not that hard...haha msn me if you got questions f00!

yeah dude a tie is 5.5-6.5 odds, I remember I did a fun ticket last season and hit 2-4 ties, i woulda hit big for 2 bucks haha.

for Tie to go down it would have to finish with a tie until shootout begins. then the game is a tie, doesn't matter who won in shootout. sport select chooses to do it that way.

sooo.. to make myself clear
a game is tied (for sport select) from regulation to the end of sudden death o/t, so if they are still tied after that going into shootout the game is considered a tie.

yes, you can buy these at places that sell lottery tickets.

Over/Under is about the total points/goals both teams accumulate.

for example
61 18:00 17:00 HKY MTL BOS 2.20 6.40 1.75 1.75 6.5 1.65

Montreal at Boston
the over/under would be 6.5, if you picked over it pays 1.75 times what you bet, if you pick under it pays 1.65 what you bet. (bolded numbers)

so you bet that they score over 6.5 goals, game ends up being Montreal 4 Boston 2, you lose, totals up to 6 goals when sport select set 6.5 goals as the margin.
