its a tuff call. All i know is there is a very good chance it will be north of the border this year. Calgary isplaying well, Ottawa obviously is dominating this year, theres an outside chance toronto can go to the finals if they dont'run into philly again, and vancouver has a chance of goin deep in the playoffs aswell.

Vancouver will lose in the first round AGAIN, provided they even make the playoffs. Go ahead quote that.

As much as Id like to see the cup either come back to western Canada or return to New Jersey, I think that Ottawa or Philly will come out with Lord Stanley.
People talk about teams either cooling off or heating up as the season progresses, but I cant see it happening to Ottawa, they have so much talent. As much as I hate Hasek, he has been putting up good numbers although relatively untested. Other than that the NHL has been made relatively equal over the off season. The stretch to the playoffs will be very interesting to watch, hopefully NJ can pull it together and grab a spot somewhere near the middle.

calgary just has to keep going with their streak. if they keep playing how they are there's a good chance they'll make it to the finals (mostly because the competition out here is vancouver and we all know they'll choke in the playoffs like they do every single year).

ottawa definately looks like a good finals candidate out of the eastern confrence.

this yr there is a very good chance of the stanley cup finals being a canadian final....which would be really nice to see since the cup hasn't been here for a while.....
