Command Start Installation Manual

could I please get a copy of the manual for the Command start?

I am not sure which one I have, I believe it's cs2400, but the remote I have is cs 555. if that helps at all.

i have a command start but cant get the new remote to program and im not sure which model it is i just know it is a oartxam2000 anyone know how to program this one?

1. Open Hood

2. Press the hood switch down and release (The parklights have to come on)
3. While the lights are on press and release the hoodswitch quickly. (The lights should remain on) If the lights do not remain on repeat steps 2 and 3.
4. Press button I on the transmitter until the lights go out.

Close the hood and try your remote starter

I to am looking for a command start operators manual. I believe my transmitter is a OARTXAM2000. It has 4 buttons and a red LED. There is a lock, unlock, lighting bolt, and a button that looks like *.

Looking for an installation manual for a 290i-C. Unit appears to be totally dead, LED doesn't light up, no parking light flashes, doors don't unlock. Battery in remote is good and beeps when pressing buttons. Its was installed in 98 on a Ford Contour and worked up until a month ago. I found the over ride switch under the dash but doesn't make a difference off or on.

Strugari - Im a complete noob in this matter, but how do you reprogram a new remote for command start CS 495i?? Do you happen to have the install manual too??

Is there anyone who can help me? I bought a Ford F150 with a CS-290i already installed. Problem is, it interferes with the door locks. I replaced the door lock motors and put the fuse in. The door locks work. Start the truck, they work. Put it in drive, they work. Start driving, they quit. Feel the door lock motors and they are very hot (stuck on). Pull the fuse (this is fuse box under the hood) and put it back in, they work again until I drive again. I have no CS fobs so I'm going to remove the unit. I need a diagram for a Command Start 290i so I can remove it without killing my truck. Any help will be greatly appreciated!!! Thanks
