I collected many things, like Hockey, Baseball, Football, Basketball, and even cabage patch kids cards. I had almost 5000 cards in factory boxes and about 300 in sleeves and binders. Back then, if you ask me about any players in hockey who was drafted and on which teams, I would know them all. The most expensive card I had back then was a 1979 O-Pee-Chee Wayne Gretzky rookie card in NM condition and the oldest hockey card was a 1950 Gordie Howe. I don't remember how I got that card but it was great to have in the collection.

Cards were not the only thing I collected, I also collected and acquired many comic books from Tales from the Crepts to Spiderman comic books. Over the years as I gotten older, I would end up selling them away and invest in bigger things. Now my new hobby is learning how to modified my GS-R. Mainly to increase horsepower and soon after interior and exterior work.

Oh I just remember, I use to collect Yu-Gi-Oh and Magic the Gathering cards, they were so cool! I never get the chance to learn how to play the Magic cards but Yu-Gi-Oh was fun to play. It's too bad I had to pass that hobby up and focus full time on my car and loving it!

Oh man... hockey cards, pogs, boogers....

I still have all of them too (minus my boogers) boxed away... Does anyone know people that buy them??

Also, what happened to hockey cards nowadays???? Do kids not like them, not making money anymore?? I'll always remember taking all my change down the the grocery store and buying a pack and then sitting out front throwing all my doubles away

Late 90's it was everything music.... Green Day, Nirvana.... everything to do with them.

I had some marvel cards.. wasn't really into it.. I had like Ego, Galactus (the cosmic being cards) etc.. but it was mostly sports card..

I'm waiting until I retire to see how much my cards are worth then.. so another 20 years and we'll see how it goes.. they're still in blinders, glass cases with screws in the corners, etc..

I collected hockey cards, specifically Upper Deck rookie cards. I had a couple of binders of just rookie cards. They got jacked though when I was young, when my house got broken into. Fuckin sucked. I had some real good cards in there that I could have sold for decent cash...after getting them jacked I stopped buying them.
