Command Start 250i,260i Cold start options

We have this unit in our car, i got the remote to to turn cold start on. 3 flashes

Question 1 : Dose this default on or do i always have to do this when we leave the car

Question 2,3,and 4 dose anybody know the defaul temp for this option ?and can it be adjusted? and if so How?

final question if andbody know where i can get a users manual that would be great.

I do have the wiring /setup manual but only show installation set up not how to use and set features

PM me and I can get you the owner's Manual.

The default setting is -16 and a 10 minute runtime.
It is adjustable.
You need an LED to plug on to the unit to change the cold start temperature and the runtime.
Also, the sensor has to be hooked up. Under the hood it should be tied to a heater hose, or radiator hose.

The cold start feature will stay on until you turn it off by remote. (4 flashes)
This was one of the things I did not like about Command Start.
Go for a 2 week holiday in December, forget to turn off the cold start, and return to a car out of gas and dead as a doornail

thanks for the input, it dose not have a LED so im going to assume that its set for the -16.

just have to wait and see
