Default head gaskets on boosted cars

my car came in two models, one which came turbocharged. i've been having troubles finding a complete gasket set for it, and was wondering if it would be a security issue if i used the head gasket from the set made for the n/a model. the two engines are very identical. and does anyone know where i could find a custom metal headgasket, if i want to turn up the boost im guessing the n/a gaskets won't be reliable

SCE makes copper gaskets with intergrated O rings, that and head studs would handle more boost.

I'm assuming this engine is the 4G63T. Currently I am using the 4 layer Cometic HP (high pressure) Headgasket. I believe it can handle up to 25psi of boost. They normally cost around the $150 range. As for the other gaskets, just go to a Mitsu dealer and ask for the gaskets you need. They have a gasket kit, which I can't remember the cost on, but it comes complete with the head gasket and ever other gasket when replacing the head.

A friend of mine is selling a Cometic HP 4 layer head gasket brand new cause he didn't need it. let me know and I'll ask if he still has it.

I would run the an EVO head gasket it well hold all the boost you want as long as you run ARP hardware.

They don't make it for my motor either, go on a car forum that is related to your car and see if you can get people to do a group buy, For my headgasket they made a minimum order of 4 gaskets for a custom application.

That is a hard route, either that or you could get the block machined for an O ring and use a cosmetic gasket and ARP head studs that should suffice.
