Tried to pay cash and was denied!!!

I was at the shell up near C.O.P getting some gas , i went into pay and the son of a bitch refused to take my 100 dollar bill as payment. But..I'm buying gas...so it's not like I'm makign a small transaction. He then said he had no change. I told him fine then I'll give you my name number address and you can send me an invoice because I didn't have my cards or any other cash other than hundreds and a bit of change. he says to me are you serious...I told him yes, he paused for a moment then went into the back to get change. He wrote my license numebr on the bill wich was ok but man what a fucker, i realise that they have to watch out for shady money but test it or accept it and take my license number...dont act like a cocksucker!!

hehe yea, what's the point of 100's when every place refuses to take them. Pretty stupid if you asked me.

Maybe a bit of paranoia coupled with laziness.

It might have been near the end of his shift, so he's going to be lazy in regards to replenishing the floats because he has to count it. If he has to give change for a hundred, he had to break open bills or rolls to give you change. Plus he had to go ALL the way to the back....poor guy! In hotels the front desk staff are like that also, nothing is worse than having to break open rolls of dimes or pennies 5 minutes before the end of your shift, you have to count all the loose coins, and so does the person taking over your float.

I remember this stupid girl who was SO lazy, she would go to the waitresses in the restaurant to exchange loonies/toonies to get quarters because she was too lazy to break open a new roll. Bugged the $#it out of me

Well, since the dumbass has a problem with large bills, maybe next time you go buy gas and pay in all nickles! Hahaha! Imagine that... Going to pay $30 worth of gas with a big bag of nickles. It'd almost be worth it to make the extra trip to the bank just to get the rolls of change before going to get gas.

Not pennies though, cause that'd be just dumb.

I don't see what the big deal with $100s is. There are a million ways to spot a fake.

A real bill:

-the ink rubs off on white paper
-the little green spots peel off
-the hologram is yellow/brown/green
-doesn't glow under UV except for the little dots

Most counterfeits have shitty holograms, so that is an easy giveaway. You just have to pay a little bit of attention that's all.

you guys have no idea what a bitch $100 bills are, when i worked at subway (before i get fired ) we only have 30 bucks in the register, so, even when i guy came in and bought a sub at 11:50 at night and tried to pay with a fifty, we had to turn him away, simply no money means crooks are gonna try to stay away
