hope he gets through this all okay. unfortunately getting better physically would only be the first step of this whole ordeal, but all the best to him.

All that work on his car to drive drunk and not be able to drive it ever again.

So if alcohol was a factor, does that mean he could also get sued by the others?

^ i would think so...... but, if any of the passengers (or madsella) die in this, it will be with all the families forever........ a lawsuit will be the last of their worries i would think. tragic.

if by others you mean passengers, then no. It was their decision to jump into the car knowing madsella was drunk.

I think he should consider himself lucky, lucky that nobody was killed, or he would of had that on his shoulders his entire life. Stooopid mistake, glad your ok, but man that was dumb.

sorry to be so blunt...i have 0 tolerance for people who drink and drive!

    holy crap....

    That's terrible news....

It just got worse when I read that alcohol was a factor.

I hope this just turns out as a lessoned learned the hard way for Mad$ella instead of anything worse.

    Get well buddy.

Wow, that's nigh unbelieveable. I certainly hope that they all make a full recovery, but I also hope that anyone who thinks that drinking & driving is OK will learn from this example that drunk driving is intolerable.

I guess we'll just have to wait and see how this pans out.

Stupid move driving drunk. But I hope he manages a full recovery and learns a serious lesson.

I'm not 100 percent sure if the passengers can sue or not, but I know a the severity of the lawsuit on a large degree pends on how drunk Mad$sella was. If he was too intoxicated to even know what he was doing the penalties are lesser. If he was drunk, but he still had control over himself, it gets alot worse, because at that point he made a conscious decision to get in his car and drive despite being intoxicated.

mike went in for surgery yesterday. He is still unconcious. He is in the worst shape out of all of them. I went and saw my cuzin that was also in the car. He is the only one that is concious. He has a broked arm in 5 places and remembers everything that happend. From what ive been told its a miracle that anybody survived. They said that mike will never be the same.

he is indeel very lucky, good luck on your recovery. Hopefully this will be a heads up for everyone. Even tho we do make mistakes but some are just way too costly. And things like drinking and driving can easily be avoided. I dont know what was you guys thinking. But thankfully no one else OUTSIDE of the vehicle was hurt.

I really can't say much. You we're driving drunk. I can't imagine if the barrier was another vehicle!! Just think about that!!
Basically, if you were all drunk, too bad.
If not and it was the driver, the passengers should have known better.
Just consider your selves lucky for now.
Hopefully you all get better and reflec ton what you've done, but since alcohol was involved, it's a shame, isn't it?
