To get accross with the car does the title of the car HAVE to be the original title or can it be the temporary issued one from the US DMV?
IIRC it HAD to be the original title, but I wanted to check.

u can sometimes get across with a screen print (if u imported from cali or texas cause theyre electronic) its pretty much jus a print out but it has an electronic title written out on it.Originally posted by Hollywood

theyve gotta be in a good mood to accept that though. if ur goin through montana make sure its not a broad who picks up, (this is wen u call whitelash ) if it is hang up she's a whore, call the next day. theres 2 guys, one of em lets u go through with it

You can only cross with a screen print if your old title is not readable or lost.

Does one has to cross in Whitlash? Why not cross in Sweetgrass? Wouldn't it be easier? I will be going next week to pickup an 05 Legacy GT...
Do I have to fax the Export worksheet, title and a bill of sale?? What if I won't have the bill of sale until I pickup the car???

Right now you can get a brand new Legacy GT LTD for less than $25,000US with all the rebates going around. So $25K US * 1.15 = $28750
41795-28750 = $13045!! I'd say it's worth it!

I crossed at sweetgras, you need all 3 before the paperwork starts getting processed, If you can convince the seller to fill out the bill of sale and title before the car is in your custody, it is fine with the boarder, But that is up to the seller, Maybe ask him if he wants more of a deposit 2 fill out the stuff, If not when you fly down to the US, fill out the information, and hope it gets processed quickly, I think the deadline for each day was 4pm...Originally posted by zuniokinz
