^Nice! How much were they asking for it? They were advertising a payment plan in the flyer I read.

I didn't inquire about it... I was in rush, so just returned my stuff and split..Originally posted by BerserkerCatSplat

one of my mom's boyfriends had an old HasselBlad, mind you that was before digital cameras were even remotely high quality, it was an SLR...

Definitely not recent, but was diggin through some of my old pics and came across this, decided to do the B&W conversion.
Yeah, the rear section can be switched out. My old photography teacher has I believe that exact camera. She told us that she was trying to save up for the digital attachment...at a mere $14,000!Originally posted by BerserkerCatSplat
I'm pretty sure you can switch out the film canisters on the Hasselblad as well, though I'm a total newb to medium-format stuff in general. Apparently Hasselblad has been around forever. The first Hasselblad camera was made in 1948.
EDIT: I forgot to add, she said it was 22 MP!!! It's apparently needed for blowing up pictures to poster size.

Wow, I love the colours in the second picture! Such a nice shot!
The first one is nice as well, but the lighting on the mountains seems a little... odd, I guess. What post-processing did you do on that one?
2 exposures. One for the sky, one for the mountains. Took what I wanted from each and put them together. The sky colors are %100 natural in the first one.

Ah, that explains it. Those sure are some beautiful colours!
Gorgeous Shots Graham .. I was actually kickin' myself yesterday when I looked out my office doors to see the sky on fire, and realized that I didn't have my camera with me...
Holy shit G, that first one's amazing. The colour looks so rich. I like that line of light across the mountains.

I'm trying out some B&W conversion techniques I've been developing over the last couple weeks:
Looks like you did something wrong on the side of JAYMEZ's car... Too much burn and dodge.. or something.. looks funky..
1st pic looks good tho!
You mean tsi_neal's car.Originally posted by DJ Lazy

Yeah, I'm still trying to figure out why the side shadows were accented so much compared to the rest. I didn't use any brushes on that pic (other than clone stamp to get rid of the car parked behind it). I tried the same technique on other images and haven't been able to duplicate the results. I also tried a few techniques to fix it, but they just served to make the image look worse.
Let's wrap up this month....
