Yeah, looks like some sort of polymer.
In the 2nd picture, there's a reflection, so it looks like a clear plexiglass or something similar clear material? What's out there that's strong enough?
One of the biggest issues with this though is there's zero brake cooling / ventilation available.

lexan (bullet resistant glass) would definately be strong enough to support the wheel. well really any thing can be strong enough if engineered right...remember the popsicle stick bridges that could hold 600lbs? it's all in the design.

those look pretty good IMO.
i would sport them, but only if i had brake rotors first, and reasonable cooling like you guys mentioned already.

drift wheels!
I bet those rims are a bitch to keep clean tho. Look neat enough, but I don't think I'd buy them, just me tho.
Take pride in your ride
Looks alright!! I wouldn't put them on my car tho...
I'd be worries about scratch and scuff marks....but like Jamez said, upgrade the brakes if your gonna do such a thing. Maybe the owner ran out of money after the wheel purchase.....

for cooling they could just put some scoop that directs air underneath and into the area of the rotors haha
Ooops fucked up haha.
Lol ,I bet he can brag he cleans his rims with Windex LOL

still, you would need some area to put all that heat, it could only go one way with those rims...you can play a bunch of cold air through there, but it wont be able to cool fast enough just going out the back side...Originally posted by snowboard

And yes, it needs way bigger brakes..they look like the size of mine
haha, i was thinking the same thing... the rotors look rediculous there, but I think the rims are kinda coolOriginally posted by JAYMEZ_STi
