Chicken is ok when breaded and deep fried

Beef is just damn good no matter what you choose to do with it. I think I'll make myself some Hamburger helper tonight to celebrate!

Both are fine, I eat both in excess, throw it on the frying pan, throw it on the BBQ pound it back. If you are asking which one is better, well beef typically has a little less protein and a little more fat than chicken but the different isn't going to kill you.

As far as taste goes, I'm sure you can decifer over which one you like beter.

My parents buy a lot of those Coop and Safeway BBQ chickens if they are working a lot. I fucking hate these things.

I will eat chicken but not grocery store made chicken...
If I had my choice I would be eating pork or fish tho... Beef would be my third choice.

Chicken, especially the breast is very rich in protein and lean which has very little fat.

Beef on the other hand, has more saturated fat.

Stay away from chicken skin and fatty marbled beef (though the yummiest for BBQ steaks.. damnit)

Now since you're talking the combo.. I want a Chicken/Beef Satay Viet Sub now!

Cows are teh win. You can eat them, wear their disemboweled skins, eat their babies, attach machines to their teats to suck fluids out of them....they own.

    agreed

Cows are the teats! Chickens are great too. Only when they don't contract avian flu.

Doesn't seem like anyone is aware red meat is alot harder for the body's digestive system to metabolize. From a health and nutrition stand point chicken is a better alternative.

    Personall I like both equally.

These chickens are usually really oily and fatty.

if you are talking about diversity between the 2, think about it,
Chickens have white/dark meat, wings, and for the chinese, chicken feet and that's about it
With Beef, there's steak, and flank, and tendents, the whole thing is just bigger and there are tons of different parts you can eat.

So my vote is for the Cow

Fuck, Calgary is Cowtown! Is there a city around called Chickentown? NO! Why? Cuz no one wants to be chicken. Chickens stink.

I buy the boneless skinless chicken breast by the freezer pack these day. Funny how when I was a teen, if anyone served me a piece of chicken without the skin I'd be pissed off but now it seems to be the only chicken on my shopping list. I eat the other chicken but only at restaurants and FF places like KFC.

When the mad cow thing first started, I loaded up the freezer with "lean ground" then latter learned that lean ground is high enough in fat that it blows my budget on fat content before I add enough of it to a meal for protein.

I'm all done with lean ground for a while, I like to stick to eye of the round, and sirloin. I beleive that sirloin is every bit as lean as chicken breast.

Also the chuck roasts seem to be a good price, and a slow cooker makes them easy to prepare, but I doubt that I even want to know what the fat content is.

    cheers
    Tyler
