PS2 Parental Control on DVD

Does anyone know how to get rid the parental control settings on the playstation 2? I find it annoying that I get prompted to put in my password when I try to watch anything over G. Anyone know how to get rid of it?

for me it asks for a new pass everytime.... its getting annoying so i just use the xbox for now on or the comp...

Have you ever changed the password??
If not, it should still be 0000 or something, it sez in the manual what the default is.

yea its gay i just used 0000 cause it was the easiest thing to do

u had to do that when u first set up your playstation I didn't and have to live with it too, it is kinda gay, maybe go on your memory card and delte your settings?? then retry setting it up.

I know the password, it's just I dont want to be prompted everyime. It's quite annoying

hahahaha i've tried 0000 before and it wouldn't accept it. apparently mine is 1234.
