Default More Tickets - Thanks for the help

Thanks for the advise guys, i'll just plead guilty and see what they'll do for me!

I've got two tickets speeding and Failure to wear a seatbelt, the cop did not put my postal code in for either one of these tickets. does anybody know if this would void these tickets? as well he never asked me for my insurance or registration, i'd have a hard time proving this though. anybody have any suggestions for me?

Not having the postal code doesn't matter, I think if your indeed guilty just pay it.

Mods should sticky a tickets FAQ here. This topic has been covered so many times.

    Guilty Guilty Guilty.

Even without a postal code, you can still receive a summons to appear in court if you do not pay it.

man, why does everyone always try to get off on a technicality. You didn't wear your seat belt. You broke the law. Pay the fine.

If i ever get a ticket for breaking the law, and i did indeed break the law, i would have no problem paying it! (or at least a modified version of it after you go and plead guilty).... but trying to get off scot free on where you know you broke the law?

    That weak sauce.

But i cant really judge, i dont know your financial situation, or anything, and im not perfect or anything.

The only thing he needs is your drivers permit. Your insurance and registration aren't required. Postal code missing is not relevant. Generally officers check insurance/registration though, probably in hopes they can get you with a really big ticket! <smile>

    At Rocky Mountain Plaza:

If you want to fight your ticket, you must stand in the line-up marked with yellow tape whereby you will speak with hearing officer briefly who will instruct you on how to proceed. If you want to pay your fine, you must stand in the line-up with red tape.

Nearby parking can be had at the Telus Convention Centre. If you are riding the C-Train, the offices you are going to are right behind the Olympic Plaza stop.

FAQ is about time on this subject.
