Pretty sure Yellow is power and red is ignition. Orange may be the dimmer??

I was thinking what you were thinking, but the problem was, the wiring color codes i got off the net were different from the car, for example, pioneer red wire goes to the honda red/yellow, in the honda, it ended up being a green and black wire, the yellow/red was a speaker wire, i guess someone who previously owned the car screwed all the wiring up.

I had the same problem with my truck when i got it. All the speaker wire was the same colour, the power and sys. remote were both run off constant 12V power so the deck would turn on even if the key wasn't in, and the ground was red. The dash kit was also made out of a sheet of plexiglass and glued into the dash.
