xbox 360 shortage

well ebgames told me i wouldnt get my 360 till the second shipment even though i pre odered in september so i was wondering if anyone knew anywhere else i can find one on launch day

But seriously, you should consider yourself lucky if you get yours before Christmas. Most without pre-order can't even get their hands on one.

i would say go to a zellers.. i used to work at one and i know we always have huge shipments of that kind of stuff and the ebgames always used to send people to use when they were sold out

I'm in the same boat as you. Did they tell you when the second shipment would come in? I think Canada gets the shaft because the release is on the week of US Thanksgiving which is the biggest retail week of the year so obviously the US gets the majority of the launch units.

I think you are going to be able to pick one up from a Best Buy, Futureshop, or Walmart etc, it comes down to being at the right place at the right time.

But last time i talked to the person in that gaming department he said that Best buys is only getting 20 of them and they are already going to to people who did the preorder with them a few weeks ago

From working at Futureshop, the deal is that Microsoft quoted twice as many as they could produce, so basically each store (at least for BB's and FS's) are only getting half of their quoted allotment.

I know we did preorders but apparently 37 of the 38 are preordered, and i was planning on taking the 38th to sell on ebay, buuut i guess the last is just in case we fuked up on someone's order or some shit.

If your gonna stand outside of your local FS, plan on getting there earlier than 8 because im sure others have the same idea...
