Default mazda announced Canada price for Rx-8!

"Mazda Canada Announces Price for 2004 RX-8 Sports Car
Mazda Canada Inc. today announced its RX-8 sports car, equipped with either a four-speed automatic transmission and rated at 210-horsepower or with a six-speed manual transmission and rated at 250-horsepower, will be priced at $36,795 when it goes on sale in June.

In Canada, the RX-8 will be offered in two, well-equipped, trim levels. Standard features include cloth seats; 18-inch alloy wheels; four-wheel disc brakes with ABS; front and side airbags and side curtains; air conditioning and fog lights. Fully loaded, the RX-8 adds heated leather seats (electrically adjustable for the driver); automatically dimming rear view mirror; Torsen limited-slip differential’ Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) and Xenon headlamps. The GT trim level will be available for $39,595.

“The RX-8 delivers innovative solutions to traditional automotive challenges such as packaging, design and powertrains,” said Mike Benchimol, president of Mazda Canada Inc. “And once again we dispel the myth that sports cars cannot be affordable.”

The RX-8 continues Mazda’s design and engineering tradition, merging unique and dramatic styling with true sports car performance. The RX-8 comfortably accommodates four adults, while delivering the kind of sports-car driving dynamics sure to capture the imagination of driving enthusiasts worldwide. The vehicle is the latest in a long and historic line of rotary-powered automobiles, the first of which Mazda introduced more than 30 years ago."

Hmm, I dunno, even Roseanne Bar gives me a bigger chubby than that car for some reason...
I like rotaries, I think my kidneys are even rotor shaped, but there is something about that car I just don't like....maybe because its not a "7"....Maxt
