Trying to figure out what to get my girlfriend for her birthday we’ve been going out for about a year and a half now. I was thinking of getting her a day at the spa I think that’s going to get a little pricey the most I’m willing to spend is 250. I'm not too good when it comes to getting gifts for people any suggestions or gifts you guys have gotten your girlfriends?

Spa packages are nice though, but make sure to buy the same thing for yourself so you can go with her.

I bought my girlfriend a necklace and bracelet, made her a card, burnt her a cd of songs that remind me of her and gave her a 20 dollar bill I got from America when I flew here, to go buy popcorn with - cus she likes popcorn .. That and for me to convert a 20 dollar note to Australian, i should have gotten 30 dollars - I'd end up with 14. Cus of cost of converting..

Reason I got her the necklace was cus I gave her the dolphin I wore on my necklace when I left - so she had something to remind her of me, and figured she needed a necklace to go with it. Got her a matching bracelet so she had more shiny stuff..

If you've been goin' for a year and a half now, it's time to bust out some cash - if you're serious about her, get her a ring - something like a garnet on silver or something.. Or white gold and ruby - or whatever stone she likes.. Make it a promise ring - the semi precious stones are pretty - and pretty cheap.. But it's hard finding them alone without diamonds and other things - semi precious stones are used mostly to attract attention to the more precious stones in the ring.
