Default Finals.....its that time of year again

Seems like I'm the one to do this every year haha so may as well keep with tradition.

Hows your final schedule looking this year??? What classes are you taking and when are your exams? Are you screwed or have you got a really spread out schedule?

I'm kind of screwed. In the past I've had like maybe 2...maximum 3 finals in a week. This is the first time that I am going to have 4 of them in a week. I'm so used to having study time in between them. Hope I handle it fine.

Monday Dec. 12th: Philosophy 231 - "Ethical Problems"
    Tuesday Dec. 13th: Archaeology 112 - Easy...
    Wednesday/Thursday: Nothing...study like mad crazy.
Friday Dec. 16th: Cardiovascular Physiology - all M/C but concepts are really hard.
Saturday Dec. 17th: Excitable Cells Physiology - all M/C again

Excitable cells will probably be hardest. The teacher is East Indian...which SHOULD be a good thing considering I am the same...but even I can't understand some of the english in his questions. Having 2 right choices is something he likes to accidentally screw up on and when you argue with him about it he will get super pissed and yell at you even though you are showing him that both answers are right straight from info. given in his class notes.

So I'll be done at around 5pm on December 17th....and I'm not wasting an extra second here...gather my shit and come home to Calgary that night . Should be a good holiday considering that last year my schedule couldn't allow me to come home until the 24th.

Good luck to everyone!! Study hard yo!!

December 9 - 14: Government and Politics of China - Take home final (2 essay questions..about 8 pages in total)

December 16 - Governments and Politics of Africa (shitty because the final is 50% and it's only 25MC!..and consists of everything from September till end of lectures.)

December 21 - Canadian Humour and Culture (written, shouldn't be too bad)

So my schdule sucks because my unimportant class is on one of the last days of finals

    Dec 12 - Econ 365 (Regional Economics)
Dec 19 - Econ 431 (Labour Market Economics)
Dec 20 - Econ 349 (Economics of Social Problems)

Not worried as much for the Econ 431 final as the prof always gives us a set of questions from which he will choose the final questions from. Econ 365 is a concern only because I come back from Vegas on Dec 10 and I KNOW I'm going to be exhausted afterwards and will have to force myself to study. Econ 349 should be pretty easy too.

I'm in Regional Econ as well... the midterm was a joke. Little concerned about the final. I was going through my notes yesterday and it isn't quite as straightforward as the first stuff.

sidenote: Have anyone ever taken a class with Emery? I'm registered in Schlenker's 325 next semester but may switch to Econ 339 with him.

December 17th - Soci 303 (Sociology of Gender)

Are you an Econ major? I was looking over my notes as well and I think the final will be along the same lines as the midterm but there is alot more models to know for the final that's for sure. Only thing with Tracey is he's notorious for having an easy midterm, easy assignment, and then a brutal final. I think this one should be not too hard nor too easy but about average. Won't be as easy as the midterm though.

I took Econ 339 with Emery last year. Good prof and tries to make material interesting but it's pretty dry material. Should be able to get at last a B if you get his blackboard notes and go to class.

I am pretty screwed in terms of the material I need to know for my three modules

Dec. 8th---Legal Methods and Systems Exam worth 30%

Dec. 12th---Law and Society Exam worth 75%

Dec 15th---English Criminal Law Exam worth 50%

Party on 15th with my Law school teachers, and take a train down to London on the 16th. Stay their for about three days or so, then down to Birmingham from where I catch my flight to India(visiting after I dont even know how long). Not coming back to Canada this winter, seems like summer vacations are gonna be the time I get back there.

I hope I get done with the exams really fast and hopefully actually do good/decent in them as well!!

    Amen

No exams...I haven't had to write an exam in the last 2 years.

However, I have a 50-page paper due Thursday

I get to make up an exam for my TA class though...so I guess that counts
