If it's an auto with no fancy options, almost anywhere. If it's a manual + immobiliser, I like audio concepts.

I have a friend that swears by them, but after reading some <Ahem> reviews on Quinn, maybe I'll rethink going there. Thanks for setting me straight...

I got raped by Quinn... spent close to $2500 for the stinking Delta Pro 2 way alarm back in 2000.

It's the stinking remote controls that keep failing and replacement costs for a new one is $300.

I'm on my 5th one and the manufacturer doesn't make the control no more. So once this remote breaks, the entire system becomes useless (can't activate/deactivate the alarm).

Manufacturer and Quinn had the nerves to tell me to go buy their new updated alarm system.

    I'm going Compustar next time.

Forgot to add, one of my friends got the same system.

Same problems. He gave up using it.

Another -1000 for Quinn for selling crappy products and no service once you're having problems.

I'm looking at getting an alarm installed in my car soon too... Just wondering what average price is for a compustar 2-way, keyless entry, alarm and remote start? I am going to call around and get some quotes, just don't even know what price range I'm looking at.

And as for Quinn.. A friend of mine got an alarm system installed from them and it had a problem very soon after (3 months or so) and they refused to fix any of it without him paying to upgrade the system since they didn't sell that certain model anymore... along with all the other stories i've heard about them on here, there's no way i'd ever go there.

Got mine done at CMS for about $600. Highly recommended, they went out of their way to squeeze me in, got it done quick and it works great.
