I don't think it's a big deal, although I am aware that I am alone in that view. People used to get married at that age all the time. At that age, they are biologically adults, but people mature at the rate society sets, so the only reason they aren't as mature as an adult is because of society. Chances are that currently they may not be as mature as someone who is 25, but parenthood can make you responsible and mature really fast (So Ive heard from people with kids). Not only that, but the whole thing with the baby being involved makes sense to.

I know that my explanation didn't make much sense right now and I have a couple of contradictions. That's because I'm tired right now. I'll edit it tomorrow.

If only this was true. You would be surprised at just how many dead beat parents there are when you are involved in social services. I'm not even gonna get into the argument about how the chances of poverty increase (children being a significant portion) and low standard of living one achieves with little education as a result of having to quit school in order to support a child.
