    Default Taking box off truck

    If I wanted to take the box off(mazda b2000) would it still be legal to drive without it on? what would i have to do to make it legal. The box is rusted big time

    It would be legal as long as you still have signal lights and brake lights.

    I'm pretty sure it's required to have something back there, atleast back in NS it is, but then again we have YEARLY inspections.. Even if it's just a shitty wooden box it'll still pass, you also have to have the tail gate on or something along those lines, a net or something, which I see trucks around here without as well...

    no box= must have mud flaps.... but i drive cab and chassis all the time up glenmore with out them

    yeah man just go and make a flat deck you will have some small custom work to do but its pretty simple and cheap
