    I just saw in todays calgary herald that King Kong is 4 1/2 stars out of 5.

    Also the movie is 3hrs 7mins long!!!!!!!

    I can't wait to see it on Thursday after I write my last exam!!!!

    Anyone else excited?

    yup I'm excited! I'm old and have seen all the King Kong movies from the start. This one looks like it will be really good with all the latest special effects and all. Even the critics give it two thumbs waaaaay up.

    Im pretty pumped for this movie... PJ said he has been in love with King Kong his whole life, so looking at the amazing job he did with LOTR, I could only imagine how good he is going to do with something he is passionate about

    I haven't seen the herald rate any movie that high in a long time, and to the t-rex battle and finals being over so I can watch it.

    king kong is awesome, and I can't wait to watch this. gonan remind me of the LOTR days - try not to drink anything and if i do try to take the biggest piss in my life before the movie haha.

    3 hours holy shit! i've read a few small non revealing reviews today on it and people are saying this movie is going to win so many awards and the actors also.. alot of the reviews says this makes LOTR look like crap

    I will be wathching this movie this weekend for sure. Looks awsome, just not looking forward to sitting in a theatre for 3 hours.

    Yea i saw it last night... lets just say that it didn't feel like it was 3 hrs long. I haven't seen the original King Kong but this one was actually worth paying for. Jack Black was perfect for his role, and the story itself was amazingly awesome.

    I saw this tonight after my exam, and man was it sweet. Starts off a tad bit slow but damn!!
    Parts of the movie had me creeped out for sure, but man, don't mess with Kong!!

    just saw it last night.. amazing movie!

    pretty much anyone knows what happens at the end but its so sad

    defintely will go into my dvd collection!
