Not sure how old they are.
Will check on the specs when I get home.

They were used on a RAID array on one of my computer systems. No use in having 5 comps in the house so taking this one apart. This comp was barely used.

    The 40gig Western Digital HD's are 7200rpm
    ATA100 EIDE
    Model is WD400BB

Lowered Maxtor 160GB drives to $80 firm and 40GB to $35.
Once again, the Maxtors are new and sealed in retail box and the WD ones are used.

Not sure actually. I don't see why not as I don't think Xboxs use special HD's.

    Anyone know?

Yes it would work. You need a modchip with the HDD-swap-trick thought. So hopefully you have a chipped box.

xboxhackz.com has some info for you too.
