Tail and License plate lights not working

So finally found out that my tail and license plate lights aren't working so I only have headlights when i'm driving at night, not very safe. I replaced the fuse today, turned on teh lights and all i hear is the fuse blowing. I tried it a couple more times and blew 2 more fuses before giving up. Any ideas why the fuse would be blowing on me? or do I have to take it in and get charged up the ass in labour? I had the car off when putting in the fuses.

sounds like you have a short in the wiring... check the connections to see if they are touching the body of the car... otherwise you might have a wire with the insulation worn away... the fun part is finding out where!
