    Default Ozolinsh enters treatment program

The National Hockey League and National Hockey League Players' Association announced today that Mighty Ducks of Anaheim defenceman Sandis Ozolinsh voluntarily has entered treatment as part of the Substance Abuse & Behavioral Health program of the NHLPA and the NHL.

Good on him to realize that he has a problem and is willing to do what it takes to get better.

"Voluntarily" is such an easy word to throw around. He probably failed a drug test and the NHL told him to go into a treatment program or face a serious suspension from the league. I hope he can deal with his addiction though.

    any guesses on which substance?

steroids - probably not, there's too much heat for it to go away without much notice

alcohol - it would take a big effect on his game and there would be some noticable weight gain.

crack - he doesn't play for the dallas cowboys

I'm gonna go with coke. My guess is Ozolinsh got busted by his team doing more blow than Theo Fluery/Bob Probert/Ed Belfour/Grant Fuhr and is being sent to rehab.

hahahhahaha... I wouldn't be surprised if it is booze. On a side note, Fleury is apparently all cleaned up now and doesn't drink! Let's see how long this lasts...

Last time I saw Fleury at Coyotes (was a good year and a half ago) he was messed on something. Couldn't say what, but he looked more than just drunk.
