officers traveling east bound along 16 Avenue. The offender
failed to stop for the officers and his vehicle was safely
forced off the road by the police cruiser and he was
    arrested.

I know its a disgrace, Im family friends with the girl who died, its retarded what people are doing nowadays. Shitbags like this should be put away for life, but will most likely be back on the street in 10-15 years, no wonder there is more and more people taking justice into their own hands with the failure of a system we have today... Im ashamed to know of this guy. Hopefully this will open sum eyes to guys who do shit like this to wake up and get a fucking life.

Jesus.... I actually had to drive right by Kensington to pick up a buddy from a bar and bring him back to my other buddy's place for a night of fun poker, DVD watching and such, and I picked him up from a bar like 2 am.... (I'm a DD for any party, as I don't drink)

I also live quite close (like 2 km's) from where that happened....

Kinda shocking to have that happen so closeby....

That guy should be hung, drawn, eviscerated and quartered

Motherfucker!!!!!!!! I knew that girl! I was friends with her brother years ago! I hope that fucking dip that ran her down gets assraped by his cellmates, burns in hell, and all over again.

RIP Raminder, another innocent beautiful soul lost to someone elses stupidity. My condolences to your family, it will be a tough time ahead

You dont think her brother will do something about this whenever he gets a chance, albeit, 10-15 years later. He's a cool guy, chilled with him a few times, but in a situation like this, anything can happen. Hope the thug life driver gets whats coming to him. Condolences to the family.

So sad and so sick that a person can have such a complete disregard for life. Impaired driving and with such malicious intent...just makes you shake your head at the horror and stupidity.

First and foremost , my sincere and heartfelt condolences to all the family and friends of the victims involved in this terrible tragedy . Such a cowardly and senceless act of hate or anger lays it's wrath at a time when we should all be celebrating our good fortunes , and a act that not only took the life of someone's daughter , sister , friend , but in the process left many more wounded , maimed and forever scarred by this selfish event .

I'm sure in the coming days , much will be written about this event . A beautiful young life cut down needlessly over something that now seems so petty . But , the best thing we could do now for her , and her grieving family , is to allow the justice system to deal with the aftermath of such a horrific event . Trying to find blame , or more accurately trying to pin the blame on the " failure of the system " is trying to shift the responsibility of this horrendous act from a person to others that weren't there . They weren't driving . They weren't at the scene of this act of hate or vengence . If you want to talk about the " system " , look at how well the police pulled over and apprehended the man possibly responcible for this act . Our " system " , in no less then five minutes after this brutal act of violence actually caught the man . I think thats amazing , especially after spending many years travelling the world and seeing how the police works in other countries . Other " systems " .
As a society we do the best we can with what we're got . The system didn't let this young women down any more then you and I have . What let this women down is the hate and anger within this individual Samrat . His own selfish and twisted mind fueled by his own arrogate views of the world around us . He did it . HE let me and you down . How HE got that way , and how I'm sure he let a lot of people down is something we'll read about more in the days to come . What we need to do isn't to try and point blame on the system , but look at how Samrat failed us . Why was he so angry . Why was he filled with such vengeful rage . Why did he think he could solve disputes with acts of violence . What got him to do such a shameful and cowardly act ? Unfortunately , these are questions that take much time to understand in a era where we want everything now . We want answers , no , we demand answers from our " system " , and I think its somewhat sad and selfish because we want it to just get over it and get on with other events in our lives . To some degree , his shame now becomes our shame and we'd sooner want to put it behind us then really look at , and learn from , this event .
So , in my humble opinion , please , please don't try and put the blame that befalls on Samrat shoulders today on other people . Everyone of us makes many choices everyday . In this time and place I'm allowed to do almost whatever I chose to do . I chose not to want to blame others for Samrat's wrongs . If he's convicted and proved to be the one who commited this deed , then I blame him . He was driving . He made the choice and he's the culprit , NOT the " system " .

Again , my condolences to the family and friends of Ms . Dhadda , and those hurt in this tradgey .

Has anybody, who is close to the victims, heard an update on the status of the 29 year old male who was in critical condition?

He's a good guy. We used to workout at the gym when we were at university.

    Thanks

He'll prolly be out in 10-15 yrs for good behaviour. I felt very bad for the whole family when i was watching global news. Very sad indeed.
