Can you get Acumen replacement bulbs? (HID's)

I have an Acumen kit (6000k) and recently both bulbs went out after a small car accident. I was told they went out due to the vibration caused by the accident. (Sounds a bit cheap imo)Anyways, the place where I bought them from said they only sell them as complete kits...
Is this true? If I would have known this I would have never purchased this kit, and it seems a bit ridiculous that a company would even sell something where the entire pice needs to be replaced..

And let this serve as a warning if purchasing an HID kit, make sure the bulbs are replaceable... those headlights cost me $350 for one years usage!

Ok, so I found out that I can get replacement bulbs now, but the catch is they are $250... that just seems a bit expensive considering I paid $320 for the whole kit brand new...
I think as long as the bulbs have high voltage connectors I can use any brand I want. Sooooooooo
does anyone in Calgary have HID bulbs with high voltahe connectors in stock that are cheaper then 250 for the pair??
