hypnosis is half-real...my friend and i got "hypnotized" at the show at the roadhouse one night. you actually do fall asleep when they tell you to and the stuff you do kind of pops into your head and you don't remember the hypnotist telling you to do it, but you're completely aware of everything you do, it's hard to explain but free will could kick hypnotism's ass

Yeah. I saw an article about it in a magazine. They took people in and showed them words like RED but in blue, or GREEN in yellow, etc. They also hypnotized some people and told them they were going to show them gibberish symbols they won't understand. The normal people took longer to identify the color because they were confused by the words, but the hypnotized people could do it almost instantly.Originally posted by YCB
