If I had a backpack with over half a million dollars in it I wouldnt lose it, I wouldnt take it off my back, actually, I would wear it backwards so it was on my belly then i'd put a sweater or jacket over it... I wouldnt care how funny I looked but I promise you I wouldnt lose it. lol, what kind of a moron loses half a million dollars? The way I see it, you tell the cops, expect cops take it and keep it there.

Even in this case, the couple gets to keep it. But their names (Dan & Jane Gerth) are already blasted on all medias. They now have to watch their backs for the rest of their lives for the backpack's owner.

This is the worst scenario.

IMO, if they're gonna be all noble and call the cops, they better be prepared to give up the cash. If not, then they should have the integrity to admit to themselves that they're anuses and just keep quiet about the money.

Damn no way would i call the cops, all the hassle they gonna get cause their names are all over the media, ouch. Really wouldnt have to worry, just shut up and pay for most things in cash, save pay checks in the bank, you'd be screwed if you tried to deposit it cause the gov check in on all deposits oer $5,000.

but are you sure they check though? i mean my parents deal with the bank in 10s of thousands at a time, let alone 5gs, i'm talking 30g transfers, and such at a time.
