it's impressive, because he not only uses parrying to avoid losing (he doesn't have enough health to block with), he also is able to input the right moves directly after to get the win. good under pressure. mind you, that's evolution, so that's like... top tier fighting gamers out there.

the guy that played ken won all the capcom vs snk tournament at evolution. just like the fat kid he was playing (chun-li user) won all the marvel vs capcom 2 tournament at evolution.

I feel bad for justin though, he's like cursed although getting beat on an important match every year in Evolution, the SF3 was from 2004, I think he got beat really bad on MvsC2 in 2003

Old vid from 2004/2005 (Happy New Year), I think someone else posted about this a while ago. But yeah cool video (SRK vs. The Daigo), first time I saw it I was cheering as well.

He had to use 'parry' because he had so little health left it was the only way to prevent taking blocking damage against a supermove (ie. when you block a fireball or supermove you still lose a small sliver of health). He didn't have any life to spare a sliver so he couldn't use normal block. I replayed that vid so many times when I first saw it... back in Jan 2005

justin actually lost evo 2005 (mvc2) and yipes won

03 was the soo mighty match vs justin where justin got whooped (mvc2)
04 was this match where diago parried a full super to win (3s)
05 was when justin was dethroned from mvc2 after 3 years of domination and Yipes won

I used to be all about Marvel vs Capcom 2, and Capcom vs SNK back in grade 11. Heh I remember I'd go with my friends every friday to eau claire to play it, and we'd try to do those moves from those videos on www.shoryuken.com. Heh good times.

i have 3rd strike and all the original SF's on the PS2 anniversary. and SFs on SNES of course. i used to play marvel vs capcom 2 on a regular basis also.
