Does anyone have any experience with short shifters for an '03-'05 impreza. If so which companies? (b&m, Kartboy) I am interested in getting one but have concerns about linkage problems. Any advice would be appreciated.

You want to get the TiC & Kartboy combo.
This is bar none the best combo short shifter on the market.
