I'd still hold off a little while yet. I was out last night for a little run and the roads were nice and clear but they were slcik as hell. Every time I pushed the car more than half throttle it broke loose. It was deceptively slippery. And for for the record I run Goodyear Ultragrips right now which have some decent grip and they hold up well even on clear roads, so for it to be slipping al over last night it must have been slick. Just saying. Woudln't want anyone to throw on the summer tires and wreck their ride before the summer even gets here. No fun in that.

Richard you definately called that one.
When I put my rims on, I was all happy.
15 minutes later (no joke) it started snowing.
Then everyday for the next week....
Driving on summer tires is not fun.

im from eastern canada so maybe i just think different but i'd wait unit late april to put them on.

i might put the wheels back on for racecity on the 14th and take them off the next day but well probably have a few more days of cold snowy weather and i don't wana take any chances.

this weather is tempting me so bad, but with all the gravel on the roads and the snow that could still come, i think it may be best to wait. aaagh!

Well, I only have one set of wheels on the C4's so yeah they're on. I'll swap to the 305's in late april. For the W124, the Carlsson's stay off until the gravel is gone.

I'll slap on my summers once they start cleaning the roads.

For most of you guys who have been in Calgary for a while you should know that we'll get periodical snow till May sometimes. I'm holding off until then for mine, but then again my summer's might as well be bald when I hit even the smallest patch of ice or snow, so not worth the risk.

Even yesterday my winters were breaking loose under anything more then light throttle and the roads seemed clear, it was almost like a thin layer of black ice or something. Deceptively slippery to say the least.

I'm thinking this weekend for me!
"A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murderer is less to fear. The traitor is the plague.”
