was just gonna say that. Jesus gets mocked in every 3rd Family Guy, he has his own t-shirts and dolls. I laugh at those, so i guess taking offence to this would be hypocritical.

In all honesty, im muslim, and i laugh whole-heartedly as Jebus jokes, but you are right in one aspect that they started making fun of their own religion. I can understand the outcry, and some fanatics will do somethign about it.

and to have a man/woman draw a cartoon of the man who brought the word of god to the people in islamic belief, is outrageous to all muslims.

Now a connection/relationship has been put upon muhammed(pbuh) to that image for the readers.

would you really want that with jesus? jesus strapped to an atomic bomb? or buddha macking out at BK? or abraham at KFC?

some ppl might take offense to the above that i stated and so are muslims to this image of muhammed. We do not need to represent muhammed in any way shape or form, we only need to remember what he brought to the muslims, the word of god.

Did the whole islamic world go too far? maybe... but it should've been the citizens of the first local newspaper that published it, to denounce it, and get rid of it in the first place. so that it did not bottle up like this and explode.
