There are more manuscripts of the bible than there are for any other religious manuscripts in the world.
Jewish people transmitted information orally, they told stories and reinforced their stories time and time again by having their children recite the stories word for word quite like how I imagine Islamic cultures do.
I would discourage blanket statements without looking at the historical facts
It's one thing for you to say that words lose their meaning when they are translated from arabic to english for example, but it's another thing for you to say that the Jewish culture completely warped their stories. What's to say your blanket statement doesn't apply to the Qu'ran?
I imagine the arab cultures transmitted the stories the same way the Jewish people did and as both cultures have a strong regard for their history and religion, I see no benefit in them having changed the stories from the original form.

( no not that i know of) so why would these people do this about us? it would be a diff story if we made one of something like someone pissin on the cross or something but no one has....... i think its just wrong if u watch the massage that tells you the basics of islam and in the whole movie not one person plays prophet mohamad its just not right

Steelo, there was no (if little?) protests in North America over the comics. We were aware of the comics, and did voice our dissent, some even went ahead with there boycott of products, many didnt even do that. The people burning the embassies ARE fanatics, we all agree on that. And the people in London yelling all that shit, and burning flags, DO NOT represent us, its like 200 people out of millions of muslims in England!

The media routinely focuses in on the minority that make trouble, so it seems magnified, and the minority looks like the majority, i can assure you that many muslims, did not react to this incident the way that the media portrayed that they did!
