Got rear ended yesterday
So, my best friend and I were test driving a car yesterday around 4:00 on McLeod Trail across from Chinook Centre, when we got rear ended by some guy in a white 88 Prelude. He said it was his friends car and he couldn't produce insurance. And, amongst all this, there were countless "pub-crawl" busses driving all around us. How embarassing. And to top it all off, we went to the Rockyview at 5:30 last night, we were finally discharged at 8:00 this morning!

So what happened since it was a test driven car? What car were you guys cruising in? Did the dealer get pissed off?

Nah, the dealer understood. I was test driving a 2002 Hyundai Elantra GT. I figured it seems like a decent car for the price, since I'm going back to school full time. Its a nice driving and very well equipped car!

didnt look too bad but i didnt look good enough, will he be getting charged ? driving without proper insurance is not a good excuse, im sure the cops thought that too

He got driving without insurance and following too close. It wasn't really bad, the car absorbed the impact pretty good. I guess it helped that his car went right under the one I was driving. But, yep, that was us

try and find a 97' Maxima for around 20 grand, its way better than the accord IMHO, i have test driven both when i was trying to find a car 1½ years ago. the maxima has alot more power, its nicer inside, full leather interior, bose system (sux but easily fixed),Originally posted by HRD2PLZ

The salesman was in the middle of a sale (we had talked with him earlier in the week) so he sent the secretary/lot person with us, it was great! She is 21 so just slightly older than Jess and I. I guess quite a few people saw. Some friends of ours and a girl I work with (they were on the pub crawl busses)

Shitty deal. I got rear ended on thursday. My body kit took it pretty bad, but at least its going into the shop in the next couple of days. Also the guy that hit me paid for the damages and then some
