Anyway, talk to Ludelvr, he built a completely custom junk yard turbo that works

Shit, there's only 49 users here, I doubt we'll even break 100
i dont believe that...BLOWN3 on dtmpower.net forums has an ///M beating 318is...i believe in my little shitbox...
Wouldn't it be cheaper to swap an M3 motor instead of building a custom turbo? I bet the M3 motor will be a lot more realiable than a turbocharged 1.8
i dunno, m3 engines are like 10g...something i dont readily have, well damn i dont have like any money right now...im 17, i drive a bmw...but yeah lets get back to what i was asking in the first place...SHOP?!
By the time you've attempted to juice your 318 to be as fast as/faster than an M3, you've probably spent over 10 g's.Originally posted by three.eighteen.

Well....I am not sure about being "too stuck up", probably more trying to be honestly helpful in your quest to go faster. You *can* build a custom turbo for your 1.8L, but to do it right will cost $3500-$5000 in parts alone, assuming you are doing the install yourself. Then you'll need to tune it, and here is the big one....hope that your engine doesn't go POP! It would cost close to $10k to buy and M3 motor package and have it installed, but the end result is far superior to a turbo'd 1.8L. Have you considered going the SC route? At least it is a properly designed bolt-on package.Originally posted by three.eighteen.

Let us know if you need any help. I might be able to help with a good machine shop.

hey leigh, you should really bring your british ass to some parties once in a while??? where were you at murrays last nite?
anyways...all this planning for a turbo is mostly planning for a few years ahead, depends on the money I'm making and what I want to prove...but i still think it can be done...@the DTMpower.net forums there is a turbo'd 318, and a guy (in calgary!) that researched turbocharging my engine...so we'll see how it goes...
Your fucking kidding me, you guys are from Bishop Grandin and know Murray Rodych? Ah fuck, small world...
indeed, who are u?
