    Default engine swap

    I got a 97 toyota tercel. I want to find say a 1.6L 160 hp engine for my car. any info out there will be helpfull. ny web site that sell engines for imports would be great.

    hmmmm do you think an engine swap on your car would be worth it? i seriously cosidered dropping a 1.8T or VR6 into my old jetta because it was in really really good condition, but with the costs of install and wiring were horrid and just the price of the engine was 10,000 ( Concept 1 ) ,anyways i say get a new car before doing an engine swap, unless your cars totally pimp

    hey well the good side is you can have a powered by honda sticker on your Toyota! NO.. actaully i think you should throw in the MR2 engine, ive heard of people doing this before

    i wanted to put an ae-92 into my old 86 tercel, never gave it much thought tho, and i had seen one at pickyourpart too, but the head was gone

    i wanna drop a 20b engine into a turbo II shell
    i think the hidden costs wil kill me though
    any comments ?

    Forget the hidden costs, the up front costs are enough. 20B rotaries are not exactly easy to come by.

    problem is if it has been modified it will probably need 10 grand is repairs and replacements from heat damage shot apex seals

    i heard corksport gives you a 30 day warranty and compression/leakdown test results for the engine

    Don't the 1st gen Odyssey's come stock with the J30A? A TypeS block is just a bored out J30 with some headwork.
