    Red face Finally put snow tires on....

    I bought 4 Blizzak WS-50's for the Focus .Dayyum they are great !! Much better for starting/stopping and handling.
    Not cheap at $1200 (I had to get 215/45-17's to clear the brake calipers) , but way less expensive than a crash !!

    that's a lot of cash. Did you consider 14-15" steelies w/ winter tires instead?

    My new winter tires are worn down badly from the , up untill recent, lack of snow.

    I have to use 17" rims because of the large brake calipers...

    Yeah, watch all the snow melt this week. That's because I bought Snows !!

    Oh well, I'll be ready for next year !

    That's right.
    Consider what aggravation you're saving yourself by not curbing your good rims, too.
    Just don't get used to slamming into curbs- there's an adjustment period in the spring! I get really used to parking close to stuff....
