    but how long does it usually take to coat a set of headers?

    it took them 2 weeks to do mine. Don't bother calling just go in and drop it off, that's what I did.

    I heard that the paint is just there to protect the headers until the person who buys them gets them. There should be a card that came with them saying that you should paint them or have them coated. Not sure though.

    cost me less than $100 to get it done, I think it was around $80.

    i've got some stuff there and they said 7-10 days.
