Wheel Advice: 18x8.5

Is it a good idea to use 18"x8.5 for an 04 STi? I'm wondering if it'll rub the wheel well under hard load. Any advice would be appreciated.

Depends which wheel/tires you choose and if you're lowered or not.

Just looking at a few different wheels for your application, and I see different offsets for different wheels.

It'll be a set of Volk CE28N 18x8.5 +44 Offset. The car is currently at Stock Height but plan to lower it later this Year.
