I'm wondering the same thing, that wouls be rough. Unless her parents are (very rare) laid back indian parents.

congratulations! despite you both looking like your going to kick my ass in that picture, you look like a happy couple!
"A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murderer is less to fear. The traitor is the plague.”

Congrats to you and your future wife, I wish you nothing but happiness and prosperity for all your future endeavors.

and make sure there is LOTS and LOTS of Ladoo...hahaha
    Ladoo!! MMMMMMMMMMMM..

Thanks everybody. The 'Indian meet-the-parents' went awesome, her family is fantastic. I talk to her parents more than I do my own haha.. Her dad is into motorcycles and planes (my 2 favorite things besides my Rekha) so we get along great.

I really, really got lucky with her family, I know it can be hard for a lot of Indian kids when they date 'outsiders'.. I know one of our friends basically had to leave her family when she got married, she hasn't spoken to them in 6 years! I feel it when I visit friends houses for get togethers and sometimes I get attitude from the parents, or comletely ignored altogether.

I was a little worried about my dad too, as he can be pretty re-necky, but he loves her too and my family has gotten to know the inlaws, and I think my dad has learned a lot about people from this.. I never hear him make red-necky comments anymore.

I've got a great family-to-be, and My family is super happy! I can hardly wait!

I guess I could have posted a happier looking pic too haha
