Heh ... great find. A few minutes into it, I was thinking, where are the other motorcycles, then we see the other guy zooming in! I wonder if the motorcycles that were being suckers like the regular cars/trucks caught on to the idea and started lane splitting. Another thing, seems as though there are a lot of big trucks in Japan (semis, trailers, flatbeds, etc).

go to california... lane splitting isnt legal...but its not illegal. If there is heavy traffic and your keepin the speed limit with it and being cautious... most cops wont care.
I rented a bike when i was down there (seeing how i couldnt bring mine) and lane splitted. Cops just dont want u to see u madly weavying in and out in different lanes and shit.

What do ya mean not every car in Japan is a Skyline or Silvia? Man was I grossly misinformed! cool vid though.

oh blue frenzy there are soo many trucks and semi's etc because japans population doesnt really rely on personal cars etc. They mostly ride their bike or take a city bus because of the population. Thus you would notice so many more trucks because there isnt a vast number of cars overcoming the trucks if u notice if u watch say highway number 2 or trans can there are ALOT of trucks... but they dont seem as dense because there are even more cars in between all of them....

EITHER that or its just a big transportation route which seems to be cause there was a toll booth of some sort

oh and billet when i was down there riding (lane splitting of course) i got pulled over saying that it isnt legal... but its not illegal... just depends what kind of cop you get... and apparently this wasnt the right cop because i got a ticket
