    hahahaha.

    PR5owner:
k, how could you even say Preludes are the biggest ripoffs when you don't have any factual evidence to back it up?
The Prelude is the best handling car for under $35k according to C&D I believe. And so what if the Accord outsold the Prelude in whatever year? The Prelude will beat it in every catagory performance wise. It is true the Prelude was discontinued because it was losing money, but that was only part of it. Another reason was to boost the sales of the RSX-S and to further push the sales of the Accord coupe and the new release of the upcoming Accord coupe. And sorry if my "underpowered" Prelude can beat the snot out of your P5, no matter WHAT mad skillz you have (no disrespect CRXguy). IMO the Prelude is probably one of the best buys if your looking for a sporty type car in that price range.

Actually I think the new Turbocharged MP3 would be the best buy under $35K!

You must be fucking stupid to think a cheap ass car like the Protege 5 is better than the Prelude.

Are you still able to find an unpurchased (new 2001) Prelude for sale? I wouldn't mind looking at one!

    Biggest Rip Off?
    $29000/200HP = $145/HP for a Lude
    $21000/130HP = $162/HP for a Protege5

    Underpowered?
    1340Kg/200HP = 6.7Kg/HP for a Lude
    1246Kg/130HP = 9.6Kg/HP for a Protege5

    Performance?
    0-60 ~ 6.9 seconds and 1/4 mile ~ 15.6 for the Lude
    0-60 ~ 10.4 seconds and 1/4 mile ~ 17.4 for the Protege5
228 kph top speed for the Lude
195 Kph top speed for the Protege5

PS: Mod for mod the Prelude will do laps around the Protege5. Not to mention the style. How often do you look at a fugly Protege5? I wouldn't even waste my strength turning my head but the Prelude has a very attractive distinct style.

What could you possibly do to the Protege 5 to bring that 10.4/17.4 second down? Maybe a big alluminum spoiler, NEON bodykit and some chrome rims will do the trick?

Don't diss a car unless you have something equal or better just my 2 cents.
