wtb - CLASSIC TRUCK
I'm looking for an older pickup, like 40's-60's. 8 cylinder is preferred. Not looking for an original to restore, but something that is running and driveable. I would prefer something that is 4wd, would also prefer 3/4 ton or bigger, up to a 2 ton, but may consider a 1/2 ton, depending on what it is. Obviously I don't expect that everyone on here has one for sale, but maybe you've seen one or know of one. Doesn't matter if it's an old truck on a new chassis(in fact that may be better). I'm not looking for a show vehicle but decent shape would be nice, this will be a work truck so a mint paint job isn't necessary. Mechanically sound is the most important, or at least not requiring thousands of $$$ in work to make it that way. I'm not in a huge rush, I've got a couple months so keep your eyes open for me. As for budget, it depends on the truck, anywhere from a couple grand to over 10 grand. If it's the right one for me, I'm willing to spend the money for it. Also willing to travel for the right truck.
