Go to the Visions Electronics store at 2930 32 Avenue NE. They have a dumpster at the side of the store that they exclusively for boxes. You'll find flattened ones in there and it makes it easier to bring home. If the ones outside aren't suitable, go inside to shipping/receiving and they will usually have a bunch they don't need.

i have a bunch of flattened boxes that are fairly big and in perfect condition in my garage... feel free to have them... we get weekly parts replenishments (i work as a photocopier service technician) and no matter what size the part, they come in those big boxes... i live in that relative area, so I don't think I'm that far off from you... I don't think they'll fit in my car though with all my work stuff in the trunk...
